The project is located in a homogeneous plot in a quiet Merida neighborhood. The lot is divided in 8 identical, of fully independent, long and narrow parts.
Each house is solved with for main areas on the ground floor: garage, kitchen/dinning room, patio and living room with a second small patio to generate a cross over ventilation. On the ground level the house only has walls towards the neighbors, al the rest are lattices and light walls in order to permeate the house with a clear cross ventilation. The central patio serves as both: a visual highlight and central light source.
A lateral staircase goes up the second floor where 2 bedrooms and a study (or third bedroom). The master bedroom, a little higher up to achieve a living room with a higher ceiling, sits at the back of the house while the second bedroom, smaller but with very high ceilings overlooks the street. Both bedrooms have cross ventilation through secondary windows.
On the third floor the houses have a roof garden with pool, kitchenette and outdoor pergola shaded living area.
